RX-7（FD）is not a Super Car. The top speed being around 300km/h with tuned up might not impress you. RX-7 may not be as fast as monsters like Nissan GT-R, Toyota Supra, and many of other JDM cars. But it does not mean RX-7 cannot win circuits.

Sharp cornering skill because of the light weight (1,218–1,340 kg (2,685–2,954 lbs.)) and 50/50 weight distribution gives you goose bumps when you are watching the race. And its simple engine design allows owners to modify their RX-7s into a racing style for more power and stability in high speed driving.
One of the easiest modifications is to change Turbo Charger to larger turbine because Rotary engine is compatible to turbo. You can modify it in any way you like in reasonable price unlike other expensive sports car.
